Terms of use

Effective 4 September 2026. By creating an account or using the SavannahIQ app or website, you agree to these terms.

1. What SavannahIQ is

SavannahIQ publishes general research about counters listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange, and lets you record positions you have bought elsewhere so the app can value them against the daily close.

2. What SavannahIQ is not

This matters more than anything else here, so it is stated plainly:

Place your orders through your own licensed stockbroker. Every decision, and every consequence of it, is yours.

3. Research, and its limits

Calls carry an entry price, a target and a stop, and cite the article behind them. They are opinions formed from public information at a moment in time. They can be wrong, they go stale, and prices move between publication and the moment you act.

Some calls are drafted by a language model and reviewed against automated checks. These are labelled AI draft wherever they appear. A label is not a warranty: treat them with at least the scepticism you would apply to any other opinion.

Where a track record is shown, it is a record of what happened before. It does not predict what happens next, and past performance is not a guide to future returns.

4. Market data

Prices, volumes and market statistics come from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Do not treat anything in the app as an official quotation. The exchange and your broker are the authoritative record of what a counter traded at and what you own.

5. Your portfolio is what you typed

Holdings are entered by you. SavannahIQ has no link to your broker or CDS account and cannot verify them. Valuations, gains and alerts are only as accurate as what you entered.

6. Your account

Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. Give accurate registration details — a phone number and email you actually control, since both are used to verify you and to reach you. One account per person. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

7. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, resell or redistribute the research; do not attempt to break, overload or circumvent the service or its rate limits; do not present our calls as your own advice to others; do not use the service unlawfully, including for market manipulation or insider dealing.

8. Availability

The service is provided as it is, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Data pipelines fail, sources go down, and days are occasionally missed. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, SavannahIQ is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or reliance on its research. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Ending it

You may delete your account at any time — see Delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Sections 2, 3, 9 and 11 survive.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

12. Changes

We may revise these terms. Material changes will be notified to account holders and the effective date above updated.
